About GRUL
GR Experiential Learning (GRUL) works with inspiring and unusual methods from the world of game pedagogy, transplanting them to new environments in the field of education. We work with students in the classroom, with teachers in an education context, in a variety of development projects, and in research with a range of different partners.
We work on a wide scale with many different types of organization development issues, communication, leadership and change-oriented processes. An experience based method is at the center of everything we do, where the recipients are involved owners of the processes in which they engage.
We are a part of Göteborgsregionens Kommunalförbund, The Gothenburg Association of Local Authorities (GR), and we are active in the following four areas.
Action:
We meet with thousands of students each year and organize themed sessions, simulations, role-playing games and other exercises. By regularly encountering students in our daily work, we gain valuable knowledge which we use to constantly develop our methodology.
Education:
Students are not the only participants in our education projects. We assist organizations, in the private as well as the public sector, with various development issues related to education.
Development:
We are often involved as project managers in different kinds of development processes, or give strategic support, in areas such as European cooperation projects, support for IT-related municipal school development issues, or learning platform related projects. Our development projects differ from case to case and often include some of our specialist competencies.
Research:
We often cooperate with Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg on various research projects, as well as with many other universities and colleges in Sweden and abroad. These projects most often concern new pedagogy at the interface between people and technology, where we strive to look behind the veil toward learning methods of the future.
